Congratulations on your engagement and may I wish you every happiness as you plan for your future together. Please let me introduce myself. I am Lee van Dyken-Schabe. I am a mature age, Commonwealth Registered Marriage Celebrant, Justice of the Peace (Commissioner of Declarations) and a mother of 3, each married with children.

I was married to my first husband for 24 years, until his death. After 8 lonely years I was fortunate enough to meet and marry a gentleman in similar circumstances, and we have just celebrated our 17th Anniversary.

To me, marriage is the ultimate statement of love between two people, who are unafraid of committing themselves to a lifelong relationship with the person of their choice. To have and to hold from this day forward and for evermore.

Your Wedding day is very special and you should be able to enjoy the day from the time you wake up. I can make that happen, by working with you both, planning, scripting, and rehearsing for as long as it takes, for it to be all you dream it will be, so that on the day it will be perfect and inexpensive as well.

Because I'm a Commonwealth Authorised Civil Marriage Celebrant I will travel to the location of your choice, whether it be in the Ipswich, Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast areas, in fact anywhere in Australia.

My resource library is extensive with poems and readings by well known authors and some not so well known, different inclusions such as a Rose Ceremony or any one of numerous extra ceremonies.

I can help you write your own meaningful vows or use vows that have been professionally written. If, like me, this is not your first marriage, and there are children involved, I create a Special Ceremony for the children, so that they are a part of the day and feel especially important.
